process over product

today we made do-a-dot easter eggs.
and by “we” i mean myself, my 2 year old, and my 15 year old.

i was quite surprised when I asked her
if she wanted to do them with us
and she said “yes”

 it was a sImPLe, eAsY pRojEct with
                  egg-shaped construction paper
                  and do-a-dot markers.
but the pRocESs of making them
                  created in our hEaRTs
a feeling so much more beautiful
                  than the pRoDucTs themselves.
