what are your birthday traditions with your children?

You have so many cute ideas, it makes me wish my kids were little again so I could copy them!
ReplyDeleteWe have a birthday dinner plate that I bought many years ago. It has stars all over it & says happy birthday. The birthday child gets to eat all their meals on the plate. Funny, even though my kids are getting older, they still want to eat on the birthday plate! :D
oh my gosh. those shirts are so cute. We have a little tradition with Alivea too. My husband and I make her a book every year. We call it her Year Book. We insert pictures and stories from the past year. I make it on shutterfly and she loves pulling them off the shelf and looking at them.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun shirts! I like to make my nephew birthday shirts as well. For his first birthday I tie-dyed a oneise and appliqued one on it. This year I made a car applique a number two. Last year I made pants to match. I'm not sure I will do that this year. You shared the how to for making the car shirt in a guest post at http://boyohboyohboycrafts.blogspot.com/.
ReplyDeleteMy kids get to choose the theme of their cake and I will make whatever it is - sometimes it's Star Wars or Legos but one year I made a fart cake- I'll have to post about that one day - his friends who were 8 at the time thought I was the coolest mom
ReplyDeleteWe aren't very fun when it comes to birthdays. Small party, one gift and cupcakes. Not very fun, huh? lol!
