as we worked through the days of creation, i wanted something visual for Bear to use to process as well. so i made a creation story sensory box. since i introduced it to him for the first time a few weeks ago, he's asked to do it a few times a week.
day 1God created earth, space, time, and light. He separated the light from the darkness to make day and night.

day 2 God separated the water from the sky.
added cotton ball clouds
day 3 God created the land and filled it with plants, trees, and other vegatation.
plastic trees and foam flowers
played with dry coffee grounds (dirt of the land)
day 4 God created the sun, moon, and stars.
foam circle sun, die-cut moon, star confetti
day 5 God created the creatures of the water and sky.
bathtub water animals and white feathers
plastic animals and barbie and ken dolls
day 7 God looked at the wonderful world He made. God rested.
foam hearts added to signify His love for the world
