i painted the side first. then we spread modge podge on it and went to stickin'!!!
after we were done, i coated it down in mod podge again. while it dried, i cut out a stencil of a heart. i did it old school because i don't have a silhouette or anything.
then i laid the stencil down, traced around it, and painted it white. Paige was right that it does take quite a few coats of white paint to cover all the papers.
we hung it in our preschool area. everytime i look at it, it makes me smile...
because it's pretty...
but mostly because i made it with my bubby.
