pinterest tells your first and last name

i have to preface this post by telling you that i LOVE pinterest and i'm in no way slamming them.  just wanted to let you all know about something i wasn't aware of until a few days ago.

Thank you so much for that information Andie. I think that I have my full name on Pinterest anyway, but with a last name like Peterson, it isn't quite as big of a deal. I would still prefer to have it turned off. You are a doll!

Great post Andie...i found this a little while back and turned mine off...after reading your post i went to check again and it was back to on! Perhaps we need to recheck this every few weeks i am thinking!!

So many apps out there are "quietly" sharing more personal info than we would think. It's definitely a good idea to check out the settings before using a new one. Great post!
