i ran across a blog post {wish i remember where it was} that talked about FreeRice.com.  it's a fun little site where you can play games and earn rice to be donated to World Food Programme.  they have games on vocabulary, other languages, geography, famous art, etc.  you don't have to login, you just go and play :)

i was curious to find out if this was a legit site, so i went to Snopes.com and checked them out.  turns out they are a legit company.  you can read the article here.  so, i stop by when i can and play a few games.  it's awesome to know that there is such a simple way for all of us to help feed those who need food.
